International Master‵s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies

In order to encourage IMAS students to attend international conferences and to increase the internationalization of IMAS academic research, students who have applied for the funding from the Ministry of Science and Technology can apply for the IMAS Travel Funding. Each successful applicant is reimbursed up to a maximum of NT30,000.

Who can Apply

1. Apply for funding from the Ministry of Science and Technology
2. Prepare the following documents:
   1. Application form
   2. Conference invitation letter and acceptance letter
   3. Abstract
   4. Conference agenda, introduction or any other related documents.
3. Post-conference reimbursement

Recipients must submit the following documents to the IMAS office within one month of return from the conference:

1. Reimbursement form
2. Round trip boarding passes
3. Airfare receipt
4. Overseas travel form
5. Report on the conference

When to Apply

Students must submit applications 30 days prior to the relevant international conference date.

Evaluation Procedure

1. Qualified applications are reviewed on a “first come first served” basis.
2. Review results will be emailed to the applicant within one month.
