Application and Enrollment Procedures
Admission Requirements
Prospective students applying for admission to the International Master’s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies (IMAS) must meet the admission requirements and complete the enrollment process in due time.
International Students
The IMAS program has a quota of 40 spaces for international students. Admission into the program is based on the review of the following materials:
- Personal Data Form and IMAS Personal Statement.
- Two letters of recommendation (2 different referees).
- Photocopy of TOEFL/IELTS scores within 2 years or other documents to prove English ability.
- Personal honors or other records of awards.
International applicants may pay attention to the information on the NCCU Admission website.
Taiwan Local Students
The IMAS program has a quota of 19 spaces for local Taiwan students. Admission into the program is based 50% on the review of the following materials:
- Personal Data Form and IMAS Personal Statement.
- Two letters of recommendation (2 different referees).
- Photocopy of TOEFL/IELTS scores within 2 years or other documents to prove English ability.
- Personal honors or other records of awards.
The remaining 50% of the admission decision is based on an interview:
- Time, date, and place for the interview will be published on the website 3 days before the interview. Candidates should check the website regularly for updates to the interview details.
