Office Student Assistant for Fall Semester 2022

- Link will be closed on September 16th(Fri.) at 05:00 pm.
- Schedule is scheduled to announce on September 21st (Wed.), then the office will need you to schedule the working hours. Please check your email box.
- Schedule will start on October 3rd(Mon).
Job Details Overview:
- Each day will consist of twoslots (9am-12pm) & (2:30-5:30pm) with one slot being three hours.
- Each slot will have a maximum of two students.
- Weekends and holidays will have no office hours.
- Flexibility in working hours will be appreciated.
- The hourly rate for Master’s students is $200 NTD and that for Ph.D. students is $250 NTD.
- Please note that this job applies only to non-scholarship students.
Listed below are some of the tasks that student workers may be assigned:
Tidying and arranging the rooms.
- Clean the 12th floor
- Inventory checking including restocking
- Other
Activities
- Help receive visiting scholars and guest(s) of the university
- Help receive new students and teachers to the university
- Attending and assisting students’ activities
- Writing press releases & taking photos
- Set up video equipment
- Prepare coffee or tea for events and meetings and clean dishes
- Other
Promotion
- Assist with the creation of IMAS, IDAS, and IMES class videos and materials
- Social media and website upkeep and curation; social media posts
- Draft emails for new and returning students
- Introducing the campus and giving campus tours.

Paperwork
- Editing and translating and organizing forms
- Editing and translating office and department documents
- Scanning forms for upload
- International and new student handbook work
- Giving guidance to new students on how to pick their classes (especially online)
- Help to cleanup timetables and announcements
