Teaching Assistant (TA) position available

The IDAS/IMAS/IMES programs are offering TA positions for the SPRING 2023 semester.

Job Description
The teaching assistants are expected to assist professors on class instruments. The potential duties may be:
- to set up teaching & learning equipment (computers, projectors, etc.) for physical classes
- to set up as well as operate the facilities for asynchronous/ synchronous classes, such as online lessons.
- to upload the teaching material onto NCCU Moodle / WM5
- to grade assignments, meet with students, lead/conduct course discussion(s)/ study groups, or read students’ papers and suggest a grade, and so on…
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written English communication (required)
(Chinese language will be plus but not a must) - Highly knowledgeable about specific subject area
- Service-oriented
- Patient and resourceful
- Organized and careful about time management

Salary & Term
6,000NTD per month
Spring semester of 2023 for a maximum of 4 months

Required documents once you are selected
- The office will provide the application documents to the professors who are seeking teaching assistants from the IDAS/IMES/IMAS programs.
- If you are an international student, a photocopy of ARC, student card, passport, passbook cover page, work permit, and enrollment certificate shall be provided with your application.
