NCCU library offers students several services to borrow books from other universities.
Please, check the information below to access these services.

National Bibliographic Information Network

This is a database connecting all university libraries all over Taiwan.  Students can search for the library location of books that are not available in NCCU or other partner universities.

Public university students in Taiwan can go to any university library. Although borrowing books is not allowed (except for partner universities), students can enter the library and read the books there.


UST Interlibrary Loan

UST is a shared borrowing book service between National Central University, National Chengchi University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. 


Register online here

Activate the service online to be able to request books from these universities. The books will be sent to NCCU. Both pick up and return will be through the NCCU library.  To check the UST Catalogue, log in into iNCCU go to the Library website > Search > Collections > UST Union Catalogue (may filter by institution using the left hand side list)


NTNU ONE Card

PhD students can apply online for the ONE card which will allow students to access the NTNU library and borrow books there.

Interlibrary Loan Card

For students who wish to borrow books from other universities apart from NTNU and UST ones, NCCU library offers the Interlibrary Loan Card. 

Students must go to the front desk of the NCCU library and request the card for the university they wish to go to and borrow books from. This is not an online service.

NDDS (Nationwide Document Delivery Service)

Students can request journals, dissertations, conference papers, etc., from other universities and they will be sent to NCCU. 

This is a charged service, students need to pay a fee for requesting these documents. The fee varies depending on the type of document, the university that holds the document, and so on.
