Dear IMAS student,

Congratulations on successfully defending your thesis! This is a significant milestone, and we at the IMAS Office are thrilled to celebrate your achievement with you.

Next Steps:
  1. Revise Thesis:
Make the necessary revisions to your thesis based on your advisor’s feedback.
  2. Academic Quality Consent Form:
Once revisions are complete and approved by your advisor, have them sign the Academic Quality Consent Form.
  3. Submit Form & Receive Eligible Paper:

After the thesis defense, students must obtain their advisor’s signature on the Consent Form. Once signed, the form can be sent to the IMAS secretary by email, who will make a copy and send you the eligible paper for uploading.
(The original Consent Form must still be submitted to the Registration Section as part of the school leaving procedure.)

  4. Upload Thesis & Watermark:
Upload your revised thesis to the NCCU Thesis Repository and submit it for review. After receiving the library's approval notification, download the watermarked and secured version from the system for printing.
  5. Print Copies:

Include the IMAS-issued "Eligible Paper" in your thesis before printing.
Please prepare three bound copies: two copies for the NCCU Library and one copy for the IMAS Office.
Students may choose any cover color.
Both hardcover and paperback formats are acceptable; however, paperback copies must include a printed spine and glossy laminated cover.

Important Notes:
  1. Watermark Issues: If you encounter any issues with the watermarking process, please contact the NCCU Library Knowledge Organization Section for assistance.
    • Phone: +886-2-2939-3091 # 62616
    • Email: thesis@nccu.edu.tw
  2. Thesis Title Changes: It is crucial to review your thesis documents carefully. If you need to make any changes to your thesis title, inform the IMAS office as soon as possible.

Congratulations again on your accomplishment!

Best regards,
